Meet Hannah – Missionary for Life 2017!

Meet Hannah, our first official Missionary for Life intern for the summer of 2017. Hannah will be helping us spread the pro-life message on Vans Warped Tour – 41 tour stops in 52 days traveling 16,617 miles!

Erik Whittington: Tell us about yourself.
Hannah: I am a Sophomore (can I say Junior now? hmmm) attending the University of North Dakota studying Classical Studies and Political Science with a minor in English. I hope to one day work in government or be a lawyer.

Erik: Where are you from?
Hannah: I am from Wichita, Kansas but I have lived all over the world.

Erik: What are your favorite movies?
Hannah: My favorite movie since I was 11 is The Mummy, but you can never go wrong with Braveheart or Legally Blonde.

Erik: Do you read? If so, what are you reading right now?
Hannah: I do read, but being a full-time student I don’t have a lot of time and I have been trying to read It by Stephen King for a year and a half.

Erik: Who are your favorite bands?
Hannah: I’m very much an Indie band girl like The Lumineers, Gnash, Vampire Weekend, and Cage the Elephant.

Erik: Why are you pro-life?
Hannah: I am Pro-Life for a variety of reasons. The two main ones are that I believe that the right to life is the most fundamental right a person possesses. Picking and choosing when a life becomes a life is not an option for the child. And the other reason is that I have seen the amazing results of when a mother does choose life, and I have seen the hardships. Mothers do not have to go alone and I want to make sure that they know that.

Erik: What are you most excited for this summer?
Hannah: Having honest conversations about being pro-life, and being able to see more of this amazing nation.

Erik: What makes you want to give up your summer to be a Missionary for Life?
Hannah: I think this will be a unique opportunity for me to grow as a person.

As you can see, Hannah is an excellent choice to be a Missionary for LifeWe are so excited to see all the wonderful things that happen through her and the rest of the Missionaries for Life this summer.

Hannah will be touring with three other Missionaries for Life on the Vans Warped Tour. This is a secular, mainstream traveling festival tour covering 16,617 miles that has 41 stops in 52 days (June 16th – August 6th) with the opportunity to reach tens of thousands of young people with the pro-life message. This is quite the adventure!
