“The Exorcist” author calls abortion procedure “Demonic”

William Peter Blatty, author of the extremely popular book (turned to even more extremely popular movie), The Exorcist” recently called an abortion procedure, demonic.

In a lengthy interview, William Peter Blatty, writer of “The Exorcist,” slips back into the light for its 40th anniversary published in yesterday’s The Washington Post described an abortion procedure to the journalist in what he (the journalist) described as, “in graphic detail.”  After the description Mr. Blatty said, “That’s demonic.”  If anyone knows about demons, its the author of “The Exorcist,” right?!!?

Why did this come up in the interview? Mr. Blatty has been upset with his alma mater, Georgetown University for swaying from its Catholic roots.  Recently going as-so-far as inviting abortion advocate Kathleen Sebelius, secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services to be a commencement speaker last May.  This was the final straw for Blatty.

Blatty has been petitioning for Georgetown to return to its Catholic roots or discontinue to call itself a Catholic Institution.  Seems reasonable to me.

See, Hollywood isn’t all that bad.

Destroying a baby is truly DEMONIC. People can try to sugar coat the killing of a baby by naming the baby a fetus therefore seeing ABORTION as a solution and convince themselves that its a common solution to a problem. However, the BABY will suffer pain, will be killed, and will be dumped somewhere unknown without a proper burial nor mourning. Abortion is demonic, some woman only see their own selfishness and neglect the LIFE they are about to KILL. These same women refuse to fully comprehend the murder they are planning to commit or have committed. For those women that regret an abortion, seek help to forgive yourselves although the scars of that regret will remain til the end of your days. God Bless.
